China launches real-world humanoid training initiative

What happened
The industry ministry and the state assets regulator directed participating regions and state enterprises to assemble real-world training sites, develop task skills and evaluate success rates, safety and economic viability. The notice aims to identify more than 100 high-value scenarios and build capacity for deployment at a 10,000-unit scale by year-end.
Why it matters
These are stated objectives, not verified results. Whether robots can work reliably in each setting depends on the evaluations and subsequent deployments.
