What happened

The ministry's notice announced a consultation on the 2026 draft guide. Closing the comment period does not finalize the proposal, and the notice does not establish that the draft has become a standard.

Why it matters

Standards can shape how humanoid robots are tested and compared. The draft itself and subsequent ministry actions are the place to check for changes.
