China installs 354,000 industrial robots in 2025

What happened

IFR's World Robotics 2026 release says Chinese suppliers accounted for 195,000 of those installations, a 55% domestic market share. The figures measure annual industrial-robot installations, not general-purpose humanoid deployments.

Why it matters

The data confirm China's scale in established factory automation. They should not be treated as evidence that humanoid robots have reached comparable commercial adoption.
