What happened

AGIBOT's September 30 release attributes the figures to IDC and says worldwide humanoid shipments grew 432.1% year over year in the first half of 2026. The release does not link the underlying IDC report, so RobotMe treats the numbers as a company relay of a third-party market estimate rather than an independently checked shipment audit.

Why it matters

The estimate signals rapid growth in Chinese humanoid manufacturing, but shipments are not the same as robots deployed, paid for, or working autonomously. IDC's humanoid definition may also differ from IFR's full-size category above 140 centimeters, so the two market totals should not be compared directly without their full methods.
